This larger-than-usual beaver was caught nearby in the Hondo Valley in the 1960s. It was given to the Museum in 1990 by Rogers & Mary Ellen Aston. One of our community's favorite objects in the collection, this taxidermy aquatic mammal has long been affectionally referred to by staff as "Biff the Beaver."
