The Roswell Museum & Art Center Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the mission of the Roswell Museum through fundraising, stewardship, and advocacy. Since its founding in 1987, the Foundation has played a vital role in ensuring the Museum remains a vibrant center for art, history, and science in southeastern New Mexico.

We believe that cultural institutions thrive through community investment. With the help of generous donors, members, and partners, the Foundation supports a range of initiatives—from exhibitions and educational programs to collections care and capital improvements.

Over the years, our efforts have helped expand access to learning opportunities, enrich public programs, and preserve the Museum’s growing collection for future generations. Most recently, the Foundation has taken an active role in supporting flood recovery efforts, ensuring the Museum can continue to serve as a trusted space for inspiration and exploration.

Our volunteer Board of Directors brings together community leaders, creatives, and advocates who share a commitment to public service and cultural preservation. Together, we work to strengthen the Museum’s foundation—financially, physically, and philosophically.
